Your Soft Space to Land
The mission of the UO Women's Center (WC) is to advocate for the best educational and working environment for women and people of all genders at the University of Oregon. We accomplish this by working toward societal change, the ending of oppression, and by supporting personal growth. The WC offers a soft place to land between classes, with lounge and work areas, free printing, safer sex and menstruation supplies, decompression and lactation rooms, and more. Check out our intersectional feminist contributor-based magazine, The Siren. The WC strives to center intersectional, trauma-informed, feminist values, and we welcome you to our community hive!
Support
We want you to have a truly exceptional college experience. In order to do that, we have resources to help you through whatever types of challenges you might face. As a part of our community, you are important and we want you to have the support that is best for you.
Childcare and Lactation Spaces On Campus
If you are a parent as well as a student, we have resources to help you. You may be eligible to receive financial support for childcare, and our drop-in Lactation Room is open during our business hours. There are also a number of lactation stations around campus for your convenience.
