The Oregon Ducks took the series from the Washington Huskies in another hard-fought contest. Oregon starter Matt Mercer pitched seven shutout innings allowing six hits and earning seven strikeouts. The lone run of the game came in the first inning after a Gabe Matthews RBI (11)--his fourth of the series--on a double (5) to left field. The Ducks improve to their overall record to 15-5 (4-1).The series concludes tomorrow afternoon (2 PM) at PK Park where the Ducks will look for a sweep. In a hostile road environment in front of 18,000 Kansas fans in the Sprint Center in Kansas City, Oregon pulled off an upset for the ages with a 74-60 victory over the No. 1 seed Kansas Jayhawks. The No. 3 seeded Ducks built a 44-33 lead at the half and never looked back, although the Jayhawks did cut the lead down to six late in the game. Oregon will play Saturday in the program's first Final Four since the Tall Firs won it all in 1939. Listen to postgame reactions below. David Peterson took the mound and impressed once again with his fourth consecutive quality start (7 IP, 6 H, 3 R, 1 ER, 7 K). He also continues to move up the Oregon record books as he tied Cole Irvin for fifth all-time in strikeouts after his seven today.  On the offensive side, the Ducks were lead by a pair of freshman in Gabe Matthews and Morgan McCullough.
