Through its inherently interdisciplinary training, our undergraduate program in Latin American studies provides a thorough grounding in the languages, history, geography, and some of the central cultural and socioeconomic issues at stake in the region.
Major in Latin American Studies
Students in the Latin American Studies program have the flexibility to design a course of study that aligns with their desired career path. Advanced language study is a part of our program. Majors will pursue third-year proficiency in a related language, and minors will pursue second-year proficiency in a related language.
