Scholarships for First-Year Students
Automatic Consideration for Oregon Distinction Scholarship
All first-year applicants meeting admissions requirements are automatically considered for the Oregon Distinction Scholarship based on a holistic review of their admissions application. Scholarship amounts are up to $5,000 for Oregon residents and up to $20,000 for non-residents.
In addition to automatic scholarships, we encourage you to view the scholarships below which require additional qualifying steps (such as completing the FAFSA/ORSAA, sending in IB Test Scores or meeting other qualifications) or a separate application.
Apply for UO Scholarships
The UO Scholarship Dashboard is your entry point for scholarships offered by the UO Office of Student Financial Aid and Scholarships, and for select colleges and departments.
Before applying for scholarships, you must submit an application for admission to the University of Oregon. If you are already an enrolled student, skip to step 3.
Within days of applying for admission, you can find your UO Student ID number in your Status Portal. You’ll need this number to create an account to apply for UO scholarships.
