In the days since I’ve been home from the trip I have found myself completely exhausted but at the same time quite exhilarated. Before I left for the trip my lack of an internship was a large stressor for me, but after hearing the countless stories of non-traditional entrances into the advertising world I feel confident that everyone finds their way eventually and that as long as you strive your hardest you will be recognized for your work. Moving forward I feel a renewed sense of purpose and an excitement for the open opportunities that this summer may provide. Thanks to the New York trip and the people I met along the way, I’m once again excited to throw myself back into the work that means the most to me and to continue seeking out my passions.
