At TBWA, we met the one of a kind Doug Melville, who’s story is as unbelievable as it is an inspiration. His career in advertising gave insight into the industry’s landscape and tools for navigating it. Being a “slasher,” someone who has dual subjects and side hustles, is the best strength in the game. His ability to work in any position, and excel in it, is the best takeaway for my own ambitions. The visit was a motivating, confidence boost at the first impression, “welcome future CEOs.”
