I ❤️ NY

I came to New York with very few expectations. Yet, I think I’m starting to fall in love with this city. 

Unlike most advertising students, I never really saw myself ending up in New York. I’m very drawn to big cities, but I’m also very comfortable in the Pacific Northwest (shoutout to Portland). New York just seemed like too much for me— The busy city streets, the daunting subway lines, and my lack of connections. However, I came here with an open mind and I’m so glad I did. Although it’s only been three days, I’ve found myself becoming more and more comfortable with the people here and more confident in my ability to navigate through the city. It definitely helps that all the alumni we’ve met with have been exceptionally welcoming and supportive, especially the women of Flock.

Plus, I’ve had a great time photographic the gorgeous urban landscapes.
