10 Tips to Follow

I had the amazing opportunity to hear Mark Revermann the VP of Business Integration at fluent360 speak. Here is a brief outline of his 10 Tips to Follow! I know I’ll be keeping these tips in my pocket as we continue to learn and grow throughout the week.

1. School is never out (In and out of the office)

• Stay current 
  
• Read an industry book
  

2. Your hustle is your first brand pillar

• Show your hustle
  

3. This is a presentation business

• Every email is a representation 
  
• Don’t be a wall flower
  

4. This is a relationship business

• Like 4th grade, clients are picky 
  
• Networking is life 
  
• Internal and external relationship
  

5. Expect tussle

• It’ll build up, so learn to get it out 
  
• Agree to disagree
  

6. Ownership inspires, find it with initiative

• Find initiatives you can own
  

7. Learn to do it the long way before you do it the short way

• Work the long division 
  
• Learn how to learn
  

8. Don’t just poke holes or identify problems, bring solutions

• Don’t be an idea killer 
  
• Be an active listener
  

9. Shine when you receive feedback

• They are investing in your development
  

10. Nourish your creativity in community

• Creativity in experiences, observations
