Apply for something you love

After visiting so many amazing agencies in a city like New York, there was one main takeaway that I got from our visits. As many of us are getting ready to graduate and have been applying to many places, it’s important to apply to places that we can actually see ourselves work at and see ourselves doing great work.

Even though we may want to get our resumes and books in front of as many eyes as possible, it’s important to be applying for places that can be a good fit. Working at a place where the environment may not be right may contribute to not producing work that we are capable of. It’s important to find a place that not only does amazing work, but to find a place where we can see ourselves grow and develop in order to strengthen our skill sets and be as successful as possible in this industry.
