One of my absolute favorite things about New York is all of the artwork, dispersed everywhere throughout the city. The first time I visited was during Creative Week last year, and the art community drew me in dramatically. The ability to walk down a random block and see so much personality and culture purely through the visual expressions on the wall is something that should never be taken for granted. You can learn so much about a city through its artwork. One of my other top five favorite things about NYC is the abundance of adorable coffee shops. My first purchase here included both coffee and art, and I could not be happier. My goal for this trip is to go to as many local coffee shops, and take notice of as many little details as possible. There is so much to see and soak in. I cannot wait.
