Oregon Men's Basketball holds the six-seed in the upcoming Pac-12 tournament thanks to their four-game win streak to close out the regular season. That pits the Ducks against Washington State, who they played as recently as March 6 in a 72-61 UO victory. While Oregon has to wait until Wednesday, March 13 to get the tournament started, head coach Dana Altman and select Oregon players had time to discuss the draw and the tournament overall on Monday, March 11. Oregon Softball dropped both games of a double header today 7-6 and 9-6 respectively. The Ducks came out strong in both games but were unable to finish the comeback in both games. Jordan Dail pitched her second complete game in as many days and Kailey Krueger threw her first complete game as a Duck. The Ducks were swept by the Cowgirls and are now 11-10 on the year and open PAC-12 play next weekend against the Arizona Wildcats down in Tuscon.

Oregon Softball dropped both games of a double header today 7-6 and 9-6 respectively. The Ducks came out strong in both games but were unable to finish the comeback in both games. Jordan Dail pitched her second complete game in as many days and Kailey Krueger threw her first complete game as a Duck. The Oregon Ducks fall in their home opener to the Oklahoma State Cowgirls. The 24th ranked Ducks failed to put up a run on the scoreboard and only registered a single hit on Senior pitcher Samantha Show. Show picked up her sixth win on the season in front of 1,804 fans at Jane Sanders Stadium. Although Jordan Dail picked up her fourth loss of the season, she only conceded four hits and striking out eight batters, putting her fifth nationally in strikeouts with 96. Dail gave up the first run early on a Cheyenne Factor double in the first inning which drove in lead-off hitter Rylee Bayless. Dail again had trouble with Factor in the batter's box as Lynch drove the softball over the wall in center-right field for a two-run home run in the sixth giving Oklahoma State a 3-0 lead and eventually the win. Given the extensive travel and plethora of programs the Ducks have encountered, it's not surprising the team is excited for their home opening series against No. 19 Oklahoma State starting this Friday, March 8. Head coach Melyssa Lombardi, whose team will play at Jane Sanders Stadium for the first time in her tenure this weekend, explained how the Ducks can benefit from extra practice days while speaking to the media on Wednesday, March 6.
