STORY: Short-handed Oregon Men's Basketball Defeated by Oregon State 75-64, Drop to 9-3.
Oregon Men's Basketball falls to 9-3 after being defeated by the Oregon State Beavers. Oregon was forced to play without key starters LJ Figueroa and Chris Duarte due to COVID-19 protocol. Duarte and Figueroa were missed greatly as the Ducks shot 28% (8-29) from the three point line and out rebounded 42-23. Eugene Omoruyi (15 pts, 9 rebs), Jalen Terry (13 pts, 5-7 FG) and Eric Williams (11 pts, 3-10 FG) were the key contributors for the Ducks. Jarod Lucas (13 pts, 3-6 3FG), Ethan Thompson (19 pts, 12-14 FT) and Warith Alatishe (14 pts,16 rebs) paced Oregon State to victory.
Oregon was able to match Oregon State's scoring through the first 10 minutes until back to back threes by Jarod Lucas and Gianni Hunt propelled the Beavers to a 9 point lead.
