What’s New?

There is a lot of information on the Oregon Brand site, and with the brand refresh it can be overwhelming to find what’s new. This entry is a summary of all the major changes that are part of the brand refresh. We’ve pinned this entry to the top of the Brand Blog for easy reference. Use it as a starting point to quickly understand what’s new and where to go next.

A list of protected verbiage has been updated. The following list is available for internal use on merchandise. All other trademarked or registered verbiage is not available for internal use.

We’re excited to introduce AI-Enhanced Visual Search, now available in the UO Brand Library. This new capability makes it faster and easier to find the exact images and videos you need. Instead of relying solely on tags and keywords, search results are now informed by the visual content of assets themselves.

The Commencement Programs Production Timeline page has been updated with new dates for campus units preparing their materials. Please review the revised timeline to ensure your program content is submitted on schedule and to the appropriate parties. Units can also download the commencement style guide from this page.

The Email Communication Best Practices page has been added to the Oregon Brand Guide website to support smarter, more effective email outreach. The page provides high-level guidance and covers practical tips on list management, writing stronger subject lines, improving accessibility, measuring performance, and much more. It’s designed to help communicators connect more clearly and confidently with students, faculty, staff, alumni, and outside partners.
