Beginning with a dissertation project for Sonja Kolstoe at the University of Oregon, we have been engaged with several ongoing projects that capitalize on Sonja&rsquo;s training in both biology and economics to further understanding the public&rsquo;s willingness to bear the cost of conservation programs to protect populations of wild birds.</p>
