Professional Interests: My professional interests center on providing culturally responsive mental health care, supporting identity development, and fostering a sense of belonging among Latine and undocumented students. I am particularly interested in supporting the culturally specific experiences and intersecting factors that shape students’ mental health and overall well-being. This includes exploring how culture, family dynamics, immigration experiences, acculturation, and systemic barriers influence students’ experiences within higher education. Through this work, I hope to contribute to supportive and inclusive environments that affirm students’ identities, strengths, and lived experiences.
