It’s something about NYC that captivates you. I don’t know if it’s all of the lights, SoHo, Stadium Goods, every sight and sound you encounter within one city block, all of the food at your fingertips, the fact that the lifestyle assures you that sleep isn’t really a thing you should be concerned with getting, and the list extends into infinity. Be careful. It’s easy to fall victim to the allure of NYC. You’ll find yourself almost committing egregious acts that are out of character for you. For instance, actually picking up a pair of Js you know are marked up 500% and thinking to yourself, “I’m not even trying to pay the original asking price for these.” But there’s something intriguing about a sneaker wrapped in saran wrap like a hoagie sandwich. All I’m saying is don’t fall into the NYC trap. Everything that glitters may just be gold. Just be aware that the costs may far outweigh the hype.
