Some advice I got from a UO alum now working in NYC was, “Being a junior in the business is a huge learning curve, but it’s the best when you’re surrounded by people who believe in you and don’t make you scared or nervous to fuck up.” Her advice made sense, but I think it can also be applied to the time that we have left here in college… Surround yourself with people that encourage you to be better, that you can learn from, and don’t make you scared to fail. Being scared to fail prevents you from taking chances that could turn into really great things. Just a thought.
