Only at UO, is there a home on both sides of the country.

Arriving early and staying late on the trip was made easy because of an alumni (Noah Wilskey). It was great catching up with him as well as learning about his experiences at Translation and his transition into the ad world.

There were plenty of other sojc alumni I was able to meet through old friends. The idea of networking is hard to put into terms, but when done successfully it makes sense. Networking to me isn’t about using other people to get what you want. To me, it’s about bringing value to those around you and connecting the dots between people. It’s exciting to hear about other people’s passions and it feels even better when you can further their passions by linking them up with others.
