It’s Only the Beginning

I prepared myself for NYC by doing what I’m sure many students on the NYC trip did as well, which was change your whole entire book the night before leaving. I was nervous, inspired, and ready to kick ass to get to where I wanted to be. As an junior in the program and first time coming on the trip I was nervous about going to agencies with seniors who have either been on the trip or have a more dialed in book. Since I spent a majority of the day and night grinding on Squarespace, I packed an hour before my 11 am flight. By now I’m feeling sleepless and fired up making the most out my time in NYC.

I hope that NYC will allow to me immerse myself in the bustling culture both in the agencies and within the city. I hope make some connections with those working in the industry and to deepen my connections to the many talented students within our amazing program. I hope to take in every experience and opportunity this trip is bound to provide.
