New York’s Hottest Trend is..

The biggest trend I am noticing is that I keep saying “Wow, nothing can top this day.” And, of course, the next day always finds a way to one-up the last. New York has reenergized my creative process. It’s hard not to feel inspired when I can visually see the people around me, both in this trip and just those I observe in passing, also getting jolts of inspiration. I know that this trip was meant for us to network with professionals already in the field, but I am finding that the strongest connections I have made so far are with the other students on this trip. Getting to know the bodies that I have seen working so hard in Allen Hall for months and having the opportunity to explore something as exciting as New York City with them has made this experience one in a million. Every single one of the students on this trip is outrageous in both talent and work ethic, and I am amazed to realize that my greatest inspirations from this trip have stemmed from experiencing New York with them.
