It was a bit of a surreal feeling waking up Saturday morning.  To me, New York has always felt slightly unattainable and out of reach. So much of the media we consume centers around this place. It holds with it an endless amount of possibilities and paths for its people to explore.

Although I’ve been to New York before, this trip brings an entirely new frame to see the city through. As I walked around the past two days, I tried to picture myself leaving my apartment and hopping on the subway, living my daily life here. I feel like lucky to be able to visit the city for a week to experience a small sliver of what life in Manhattan could be. I am so ready to soak up every experience.
