If you asked me what I wanted to be the first day I stepped onto the University of Oregon campus, I would have told you that I wanted to get into sports broadcasting. But here I am in my last term about to see nine different agencies in a phenomenal city with over 100 students my age. It appears my journey took a few twists and turns for me to end up where I am.

In the past couple of week I’ve been in contact with UO alum, sending résumés, portfolio pieces, asking questions and receiving answers. I always thought that I needed to know what I wanted to do and the exact steps to get there. But now I know that it’s okay to be a little lost. Your journey might lead you to an unexpected destination.
