Take your stained-glass skills beyond straight lines and square frames in this follow-up workshop from our Beg Stained Glass. Designed for crafters who are already comfortable with glass cutting, grinding, foiling, and soldering, you will create a multi-media light catcher or small panel featuring irregular edges, organic shapes, and personal treasures incorporated directly into your design. You'll explore creative ways to integrate non-glass elements such as coins, natural stones, keys, or pieces of broken china into your work while learning decorative soldering techniques that add texture and visual interest.
Discover specialized foiling methods for challenging shapes and structural solutions that reinforce delicate curves and uneven joints without relying on a traditional zinc frame. Along the way, you'll gain practical design and construction strategies for creating visually striking, structurally sound stained-glass pieces. These techniques can also be applied to future dimensional projects such as jewelry boxes, picture frames, and other mixed-media creations.
