Studio Orientation and Waiver Membership are required for all new studio users not registered for a workshop to become acquainted with studio policies and space usage. Users must have prior experience to take this orientation. Prior experience is defined as workshop or class experience within the past 2 years and a full understanding of the studio processes from beginning to end.

That experience must include the following: • Proficiency in basic metalworking techniques, such as sawing, filing, and sanding. • Knowledge of soldering techniques and safety protocols. • Familiarity with using a flex shaft, polishing equipment, torches, safe jewelry chemical usage, and other tools.
