Studio Orientation and Waiver Membership are required for all new studio users not registered for a workshop to become acquainted with studio policies and space usage. Users must have prior experience to take this orientation. Prior experience is defined as workshop or class experience within the past 2 years and a full understanding of the studio processes from beginning to end.

That experience must include the following: • Ability to use and clean brushes properly. • Knowledge of color mixing and basic color theory. • Familiarity with materials like canvas, paper, and different paints (e.g., acrylic, oil, watercolor).
