Learn how to make your own glass beads! Students will develop a foundation for creating their own colorful beads using glass flameworking techniques and soft glass canes. This 4-session workshop will introduce you to the tools and techniques used to create patterns with dots, stringers and encasement. With the guidance of the instructor and demonstrations, learn each step to making beautiful glass beads. The workshop covers methods that help you to sculpt the hot glass using a torch and tools to shape into various forms, apply color and designs.Glass beads will need 24 hours to anneal, your instructor will let you know when to pick up for the last session.
