This four-session workshop will take you through the basics of torchworking,making small solid forms. Each session will have a different project from shaping glass hearts to learning to attach shapes to make a balloon animal and more! The goal of the course is to learn basic techniques so that you have the skills to create your own projects in the future. Set yourself up for success with a solid knowledge of Borosilicate Flame working and methods in shaping, attaching, and finishing each glass object. Great for beginners and experienced students to hone their skills further. See the qulafications below for glass reservation that this workshop can provide you access to the glass studio after completion of this workshop.

Does this workshop qualify for reserving time in the glass studio? Qualifying requires that you attended all sessions and completed the workshop, that you are comfortable with the equipment, capable of lighting a torch on your own, and that you will follow all clean-up procedures, safety protocols, and studio workflow policies. At the completion of the course, you will be shown how to make an online reservation for a one-hour session in the glass studio.You must have taken this workshop or completed a experienced-studio user orientation prior to making the glass reservation. No exceptions.
