Studio Orientation and Waiver Membership are required for all new studio users not registered for a workshop to become acquainted with studio policies and space usage. Users must have prior experience to take this orientation. Prior experience is defined as workshop or class experience within the past 2 years and a full understanding of the studio processes from beginning to end.

For relief, that experience must include the following: • Proficiency in carving linoleum or wood blocks safely. • Knowledge of inking techniques and proper ink consistency. • Familiarity with using a press or hand-burnishing tools. • Ability to register prints.
