Each term, we are excited to introduce our Pay It Forward initiative, where your creativity can spread kindness to our fellow campus community, When you join this single session workshop, you will learn glass bead making using a torch and colorful glass. The instructor will guide you on using the torch to soften and shape glass into beads. Our focus is on making symbols that reflect hope, courage, kindness, and belonging. Our instructor will have a variety of shapes to start with from a heart to rainbow, to simple floral designs. As each participant brings their own experiences, stories, and inspirations, together we will create a vibrant collection of glass beads that celebrate the many ways hope is expressed across our community. You'll make multiple glass beads during the workshop, keeping some as a personal reminder of what inspires you and donating others as a gesture of collective hope as we string the beads together. This collaborative necklace will be on display at this year's Mardi Gras festival. Through the simple act of making and sharing, we can strengthen connections and contribute to a more compassionate and hopeful world. **Note the Craft Center staff will be stringing and donating the item on display. Join us and share in beads of hope!
