Delve into a hands-on, four-session workshop! Screen printing is a fun way to translate unique designs onto paper and textiles. Learn screen printing basics including fundamental stencil making, registering a multi-colored print, and an introduction to the process of creating a photosensitized screen.
Experience Level - No experience necessary– Great for beginniners and a refresher for experienced screenprinters.Workshop registration is for all dates listed. Please plan to attend all sessions. For information on registration and refund policies, please review the FAQ page.
Materials - Introductory materials included except for the following additional materials. Additional Materials Transparancies will need to be printed at a local print store, we do not print copies onto transparency.We will supply your first transparency to take to the print store.
Does this workshop qualify for Open Studio access? Participants must complete all workshop sessions to qualify for open studio use. All Open Studio users are required to follow all Craft Center policies, clean-up procedures, safety protocols, and studio workflow guidelines.
All open studio users will need to purchase their own screens, a black bag to store photo emulsified screens, fabric inks (if using), and mailing tape. No studio storage is available for personal items.
