Studio Orientation and Waiver Membership are required for all new studio users not registered for a workshop to become acquainted with studio policies and space usage. Users must have prior experience to take this orientation. Prior experience is defined as workshop or class experience within the past 2 years and a full understanding of the studio processes from beginning to end.

For glass fusing, that experience must include the following

Knowledge of how glass behaves at different temperatures.

Familiarity with techniques like layering and slumping.

Ability to safely cut and arrange glass for fusing.
