Mateo worked his way to Eugene, Oregon, where he started a family and his own landscaping business. Mateo explains in his own words the risks he took and the ways he survived in the world as an illiterate person who never gave up.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><em>Producer\/Director Bio:&nbsp;<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Juan Camacho is a Cultural Anthropology major at the University of Oregon.&nbsp; Juan used to play in a punk band, is owner of a restaurant in Eugene and will soon be graduating from college.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u201cMateo Amezcua: An American story\u201d (Mateo Amezcua: Una historia Americana)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Un documental de Juan Camacho<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><em>Sinopsis\/resumen de la pel\u00edcula:<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Este documental es sobre Mateo Amezcua, quien lleg\u00f3 a los Estados Unidos cuando era joven y sin ninguna habilidad para leer o escribir.
