Neyo is originally from Venezuela, and after living 14-years in Oregon he decided to apply for U.S. citizenship. Neyo is an active member of the Eugene community and a volunteer firefighter, dedicated husband and father, and advocate for justice.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><em>Producer\/Director bio:<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Eli Ruth-Cheff is majoring in Latin American Studies, International Studies and Spanish.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u201cEl Lugar y el Dolor\u201d <\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Un documental de Eli Ruth-Cheff<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><em>Sinopsis\/resumen de la pel\u00edcula:<\/em><\/p>\n<p>El t\u00edtulo &#8220;el lugar y el dolor&#8221; proviene de un poema que Neyo escribi\u00f3, que aborda algunos de los temas del documental como la ciudadan\u00eda, el patriotismo y la importancia de comunidad. Neyo es de Venezuela, y despu\u00e9s de vivir 14 a\u00f1os en Oreg\u00f3n, ha decidido solicitar la ciudadan\u00eda estadounidense. Neyo es miembro activo de la comunidad de Eugene, bombero voluntario, esposo y padre dedicado.
