Synopsis:<\/em><\/p>\n

This film is about the life of Javier Magallanes and his journey from southern California to Oregon. As a child, Javier entered the foster care system and was adopted by a Latino family who later moved to Yachats, Oregon. Javier discusses his hardships while growing up, such as, violence, childhood hunger, migration, and discrimination. But today, through perseverance and hard work, Javier has created a beautiful life for himself that he is proud of.<\/p>\n

De ni\u00f1o, Javier estuvo en orfanato y fue adoptado por una familia Latina que se mud\u00f3 a Yachats, Oreg\u00f3n. Javier habla sobre sus penurias mientras crec\u00eda, como la violencia, el hambre, la migraci\u00f3n y discriminaci\u00f3n. Pero hoy, a trav\u00e9s de la perseverancia y arduo trabajo, Javier ha creado una hermosa vida para s\u00ed mismo de la que est\u00e1 orgulloso.<\/p>\n
