Synopsis:<\/em><\/p>\n

Yadira Janet Mendoza tells her story of growing up in Chiapas, Mexico. Having come from a family of farm workers, she was only able to attend school for two hours a day after working a full shift in the fields. At age 18, Janet moved to Albany, Oregon, in the pursuit of a new life. This transition led to new opportunities, including meeting her husband Oscar. She started her own cleaning business MOJY, named after the initials of family members. She dreams of returning to school to study finance or business administration and learning English.<\/p>\n

Shannon East is a master\u2019s student in International Studies and plans to work with Latino people, especially Brazilian communities, after she graduates.<\/p>\n

Siendo de familia de trabajadores del campo, Janet s\u00f3lo atendi\u00f3 la escuela dos horas al d\u00eda, t\u00edpicamente despu\u00e9s de trabajar todo el d\u00eda en el campo. A la edad de 18, Janet se mud\u00f3 a Albany, Oreg\u00f3n, en busca de una nueva vida. Este cambio la llevo a nuevas oportunidades, incluyendo conocer a su esposo Oscar. Janet comenz\u00f3 su propio negocio de limpieza llamado MOJY, usando las iniciales de su familia.
