Synopsis:<\/em><\/p>\n

Armando grew up in the city of Guanajuato, Mexico. He is a mestizo man, and proud to have indigenous totonaco<\/em> blood from his mother\u2019s side. Inspired by his future wife, he moved to Oregon where he attended college and earned a degree in anthropology, and a master\u2019s in literature. Armando is an activist in the community advocating for human rights for immigrants, and currently hosts on KLCC the radio program Ahora S\u00ed!,<\/em> one of the first Spanish and bilingual (Spanish\/English) radio programs in Eugene, Oregon.<\/p>\n

Maria Licia Aldana Rodgers is from Bolivia, and lives in Oregon since 2006. She has a major in Latin American Studies and Spanish.<\/p>\n

Armando creci\u00f3 en la ciudad de Guanajuato, M\u00e9xico. Es un hombre mestizo orgulloso de tener sangre ind\u00edgena totonaca<\/em> por parte de su madre. Inspirado por su esposa, se mud\u00f3 a Oreg\u00f3n, donde atendi\u00f3 la universidad recibiendo su licenciatura en antropolog\u00eda, y despu\u00e9s una maestr\u00eda en literatura. Armando es activista en la comunidad defendiendo los derechos de inmigrantes, y hoy en d\u00eda, es locutor de radio en el programa Ahora S\u00ed! <\/em>en KLCC. Este es uno de los primeros programas en espa\u00f1ol y biling\u00fce (espa\u00f1ol\/ingl\u00e9s), en Eugene, Oreg\u00f3n.<\/p>\n
