May\u2019s paper\u00a0<em><\/em>is now available online in the <a href=\"http:\/\/csws-archive.uoregon.edu\/wp-content\/docs\/publications\/Winter_11_CSWS_RM.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Winter 2011<\/a> issue of <em>CSWS Research Matters<\/em>. The UO Center for the Study of Women in Society supported May\u2019s research with a Faculty Research Grant.<\/p>\n<p>From the paper: \u201cThe story of the 2002 fish kill is part of a larger story, and a larger healing. The Klamath Theatre Project and the process of developing <em>Salmon Is Everything<\/em> provides a model for the ways in which theatre\u2019s methodology can give voice to collective memory and contribute to healing historical trauma.\u00a0 My current Women and Rivers Project, funded in part through CSWS, will continue to build a body of performance-based research in the form of new works developed with and for regional communities.\u201d<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Salmon, Women, and Rivers: Community-Based Performance Research by Theresa J.
