In May 2019, a federal judge granted the University\u2019s request to dismiss the case without trial. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Freyd&#8217;s request for a jury trial was heard recently by the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals.
