He was granted the award for his \u2018achievements both in teaching and in crafting a program that supports and promotes sustainability.\u2019<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIn order to be considered for the award, candidates must have \u2018developed pedagogy and curriculum which reinforce and advance principles of sustainability through course design and instruction.\u2019&nbsp; The awardee must \u2018have&nbsp;exhibited excellence in one or both: innovation (creative integration of principles of environmental, social, and economic sustainability through innovative curriculum design and instruction) and impact (teaching and mentorship which inspires student engagement in sustainability projects on campus or beyond).\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>CSWS offers congratulations to faculty affiliate Stephen Wooten for his teaching award.
