Eisen\u2019s work in advancing the use of zebrafish as a model organism for research around the world, her role in the emerging field of microbiome research and her leadership in the UO\u2019s Science Literacy Program also contributed to her selection.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Judith Eisen is a professor in the UO Department of Biology, a faculty member of the UO Institute of Neuroscience, and a CSWS faculty affiliate.
