CSWS supported Professor Thorsson\u2019s foodways and literature research with a 2012 CSWS Faculty Research Award. She is the author of\u00a0<em>Women\u2019s Work: Nationalism and Contemporary African American Women\u2019s Novels <\/em>(University of Virginia Press, 2013).<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>The Vice President for Research and Innovation announced the recipients of the UO Research Excellence Awards.
