Place Allen Hall, Room 141.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Friday Oct.4: 9-10:30 a.m.<\/strong><br \/>\nBreakfast (workshop\/conversation\u2014330 Hendricks Hall, Jane Grant Conference Room) with the Center for the Study of Women in Society\u2019s sponsoring research interest group (RIG) and special project members and\/or faculty and grad students (<a href=\"http:\/\/csws.uoregon.edu\/?page_id=598\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Am\u00e9ricas RIG<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/csws.uoregon.edu\/?page_id=4712\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Queering\u00a0 Academic Studies RIG<\/a>, and <a href=\"http:\/\/csws.uoregon.edu\/?page_id=3095\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Women of Color Project<\/a>). Director Solaya will discuss the role of gender in Cuban society both from a historical and feminist perspective.
