UO was named a winner of a Grand Challenges Explorations grant for a project proposed by Weeks that \u201cinvolves the implementation of a neurophysiology-based technology to accelerate discovery of drugs to eliminate intestinal worm infections, specifically human soil-transmitted helminthic infections,\u201d which are carried by two to three billion of the world&#8217;s poorest people.
