Thorsson&#8217;s talk will draw from \u201cVertamae Grosvenor\u2019s Revolutionary Recipes,\u201d the initial chapter of this project in which she seeks to establish a scholarly understanding of foodways through the writings of Vertamae Grosvenor, author of the 1970 cookbook <em>Vibration Cooking: Travel Notes of a Geechee Girl<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>Courtney Thorsson is an assistant professor in the Department of English at University of Oregon and a CSWS faculty affiliate.
