As a University of Oregon research center, CSAW combines rigorous research and evaluation with community partnership. Our team has experience in program and developmental evaluation, mixed-methods and longitudinal research, implementation research, measurement and tool development, and qualitative research. We design evaluation around the realities of the people and organizations doing the work, producing findings that support learning and decision-making.
Recent projects include a completed developmental evaluation and outcome study design for myWorth, as well as completed mixed-method research examining belonging, school relationships, help-seeking, and supports for youth experiencing housing insecurity. CSAW also welcomes partnerships involving measurement development, longitudinal analysis, rapid-cycle reporting, and implementation research.

Parent Cafés enhance your current programming by providing an ongoing opportunity for caregivers to deepen relationships, reinforce learning, and develop peer support networks that extend well beyond a single educational event.

Cultivate partners with educators to strengthen relationships, professional practice, and student success. They provide research- and evidence-informed professional learning for Early Childhood Educators and K–12 Educational Assistants (EAs) through engaging Professional Learning Communities (PLCs). PLCs are collaborative learning experiences designed to build knowledge through reflection, discussion, and practical application.

Bring student perspectives into your organization, initiative, or decision-making process by partnering with CSAW’s Youth Advisory Council (YAC). Our YAC creates opportunities for young people to share their lived experience, insights, and priorities with organizations working on issues that affect youth and their communities.
CSAW welcomes partnerships seeking youth-informed feedback, consultation, co-design, or participation in research and program development—helping ensure efforts are shaped with young people, not simply for them.
