GSL 440. Methods in Food Systems Studies. 4 Credits.
This course provides a hands-on introduction to the social scientific, linguistic, and humanistic study of food, foodways, and food systems. Each class session will combine a theoretical discussion of a particular methodology, a survey of its usage through diverse case studies, and a chance to experiment with the methodology in individual and small groups.
