Artificial Intelligence in Global Contexts examines how AI systems operate within cultural, political, and institutional settings around the world. Designed for non-technical majors, the course develops foundational AI literacy while exploring how values, power, labor, and governance shape algorithmic systems across societies. Through comparative case studies, global policy perspectives, and cultural narratives, students analyze how AI is designed, deployed, and regulated internationally. No prior technical background is required.
