GER 101. First-Year German I. 4 Credits.
Provides a thorough grammatical foundation and an elementary reading knowledge of German as well as an understanding of the spoken language, cultural products and practices of the German-speaking world. Students cannot receive credit for both GER 101 and GER 141. Sequence with GER 102, GER 103.
