FIN 446. Real Estate Finance. 4 Credits.
This course covers the concepts, principles, and techniques used in the field of real estate finance. We will go over mortgages in depth, and students will learn how to use financial math to do various calculations involving mortgages. In addition, we will go through the entire mortgage life cycle from origination to termination, with a focus on topics including mortgage choice, prepayment, default, and the secondary market.
Requisites: Prereq: FIN 316 or FIN 316H.
