EALL 540. Chinese, Japanese, and Korean Phonetics. 4 Credits.
This course introduces students to the articulatory and acoustic analyses of Chinese, Japanese, and Korean sound systems. Students acquire knowledge of the sound systems of the three languages and to engage in the examination of current issues involving Chinese, Japanese and Korean phonetics.
